- 30-day defect & leak replacement — a leaking or damaged valve, a cylinder that will not hold pressure, or the wrong refrigerant or fill weight. Inspect within 72 hours of delivery.
Product details
R-449A is one of the blends that replaced R-404A as the HFC phase-down pushed higher-GWP gases out of commercial refrigeration. It was formulated to go into existing equipment without a redesign, which is why it turns up in supermarket and cold-store retrofits rather than only in new builds.
A 25 lb cylinder is the working service size. It is a blend with glide, so take your readings from R-449A's own pressure–temperature data and charge as a liquid. On a retrofit from R-404A, plan to verify the expansion device setting rather than inherit it.
