About Sentai Gas
Sentai Gas sells refrigerant. Not refrigerant alongside garden furniture or car parts — refrigerant, the gases that go with it, and the consumables you need either side of a charge. 111 stocked lines across 31 collections, shipped free anywhere in the United States.
The people buying here are mostly working technicians, and the site is built for that. Every product page states the refrigerant, the cylinder size, the service fitting and whether the gas is virgin or reclaimed — where the specification states them. Where it does not, we say nothing rather than fill the gap with something plausible. A guessed fitting costs somebody a wasted trip.
What we stock, and why it moves
Refrigerant is a market in transition, and the catalogue reflects that rather than pretending otherwise. R-22 has not been produced in the United States since the phase-out completed, so what remains is pre-ban and reclaimed stock and the price only goes one way. The HFC phase-down under the AIM Act is doing the same thing more slowly to R-404A and R-410A, which is why the lower-GWP replacements — R-448A, R-449A, R-454B, R-513A — take up as much shelf space here as the gases they succeed.
That has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: prices here move more often than they would in most catalogues, because the cost of the gas moves. We would rather reprice a line than quietly let a listing drift away from what we can actually supply.
How we handle regulated goods
Most of what is on this site may only be sold to certified technicians. That is federal regulation, not house policy, and it applies whether or not anyone asks you for paperwork. We do not collect certificates at checkout, so ordering a restricted refrigerant is your confirmation that you are permitted to buy it. Every restricted product page says so on the page rather than burying it in an FAQ, and the compliance policy sets out the detail.
What we promise
Free shipping on every order, with no threshold. Dispatch in 1 business day (Mon–Fri) and delivery in 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri). A 30-day replacement warranty on defective cylinders, valves and fill. And a returns policy that is narrower than most and honest about why: an opened refrigerant cylinder cannot come back, because nobody can verify what is in it or what it has been connected to.
You can read all of it on the policies pages. Every figure on them is generated from one definition in the codebase, so the shipping window quoted on a product page, in the policy and in our product feed is always literally the same number.
