Order acceptance & cancellation
When an order becomes binding, and the circumstances in which we may decline or cancel one.

When an order is accepted
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract. The order is accepted when we dispatch it, and it is the dispatch confirmation — not the checkout confirmation — that forms the agreement.
That distinction matters on regulated goods: it is what lets us stop an order that should not ship before it ships, rather than after.
When we may decline an order
We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. In practice we do so for one of these reasons:
- the buyer is not permitted to purchase the refrigerant ordered
- a listed price or description was wrong and the error is obvious
- the item is out of stock after the order was placed
- the order fails a payment or fraud check
- the delivery address cannot accept regulated freight
Quantity limits
We may limit quantities per person, per household, per order, per account, per payment card or per address, including where several orders appear to come from the same buyer. Refrigerant supply is tight on some lines and limits are how we keep stock available to working technicians.
Cancelling or changing an order
Ask as early as you can. Orders are dispatched within 1 business day (Mon–Fri), so the window is genuinely short. Once a cylinder is with the carrier, the returns policy applies instead.
If we cancel or change an order we will contact you using the email address on the order. We cannot be responsible for a delay caused by contact details that are wrong or out of date.
