Warranty: 30-day defect & leak replacement — a leaking or damaged valve, a cylinder that will not hold pressure, or the wrong refrigerant or fill weight. Inspect within 72 hours of delivery.

Product details

R-422D is another of the R-22 retrofit blends that avoids an oil change — the system keeps the mineral oil already in the compressor, which is what makes a changeover a service call rather than a strip-down.

Do not confuse it with R-422B, which this catalogue also carries. They are different blends with different pressure–temperature behaviour and they are not interchangeable just because the numbers are adjacent. Check which one the system was retrofitted with before adding to an existing charge; mixing refrigerants gives you a mixture whose properties are nobody's published data.
