- 30-day defect & leak replacement — a leaking or damaged valve, a cylinder that will not hold pressure, or the wrong refrigerant or fill weight. Inspect within 72 hours of delivery.
Product details
R-421A is an HFC blend offered as an alternative for R-22 equipment, which puts it in the same conversation as the other retrofit options when a system has to stay in service but the original gas has become hard to justify buying.
As with any blend, charge liquid and work from R-421A's own pressure–temperature data rather than R-22's. Confirm lubricant requirements for the specific equipment before committing to a changeover — the retrofit blends differ from each other on exactly that point, and the answer for one is not the answer for all.
